Let us sit down with you and show you a visual consultation with a PDF report with pics and/or video to show you the actual damage or in some cases no damaged areas. This process helps to explain and show you exactly what and where damages are located that you can see for yourself and not just taking someone's word there is. Upon signing a contract with Severe Storm Services then we will give you a copy of the PDF report for free showing the issues before work ever gets started. We will inform you during the work process to show how the damaged was fixed and then when job is completely paid for as stated on contract a report will be issued to show the finished job completed.. Our approach is to ensure you are comfortable enough to allow Severe Storm Services to do the job knowing you're getting a top notch quality job while you get to see the process from start to finish. We can also discuss some preventative maintenance tips if possible to help make your new roof or siding last as long as it can and hopefully expand it's life expectancy a little longer. With over 30 years of experience we can give you a simple & professional consultation to give you peace of mind.
We advise to not trust out of state storm chasing contractors who want to just come into Texas when there is a storm and that's all. Some not all just take your hard earned money to make a few bucks and then quickly shoot down shingles using pneumatic roofing guns which are not good from what codes & manufacturers require in a quality & properly fastened roofs or worse they could be a no show and take your money and don't do the job at all. Most, not all contractors who work in Non-windstorm areas even from Texas areas like Austin, Dallas, SA or Houston who try to come down to a Windstorm area and don't usually know the windstorm codes or requirements for high wind zone areas which are of course a lot stricter than those in a non-windstorm area... Severe Star Storm Services knows these High Wind Zone processes and have your back because we apply the stricter standards on all our jobs for all areas in Texas no matter where. Most all counties touching the coast from Beaumont down to Brownsville require a windstorm certification (WPI-8) for TWIA Insurance purposes and most contractors either don't know about it or don't have or even try to use a AQI/TDI Engineer to even get a WPI-1 application started for permitting purposes which these windstorm services should be included and listed in the contract to protect the building owner from being taken advantage of.
Per TDI all construction projects with an exception of some ***small jobs in all Windstorm Counties require and must have a Professional Engineer who is a Texas Certified (Appointed Qualified Inspector) to obtain a WPI-8 from TDI (Texas Department of Insurance) which we have available anytime. This applies for all of your exterior projects (Roofs, Siding, Windows, Doors, Decks, Stairways, A/C units) from wind or hail damage from a storm that needs either replaced or repaired or if your simply wanting to just repair or replace not from a storm but because you feel it's time for a new one or old age .
In windstorm areas we will provide a WPI-1 application to you from an AQI/TDI Appointed Engineer from the State of Texas before we even start the job!! (This service will already be added into our contract as a paid service for the Engineers Certification & Inspection process for TWIA/TDI)
